Description

The department is mandated to identify and recruit competent staff and discharge the general management of the day to day council duties.

CORE FUNCTIONS

-Recruitment and selection of staff

-Staff development

-Implementation of the code of conduct.

-Arrange in-house and external training workshops and seminars.

-Oversee the general administration and human resource management including monitoring, reporting, coordination and liaison with various parties concerned.

-Ensure that minutes of council meetings are circulated to all members within 7 days of holding a meeting.

-To make sure that council policies are implemented and adhered to.
