NOTES
- This form should be handed to the Council together with a USD$100-00 application fee which is not refundable. This application fee is valid for a twelve month period. If after this period you have not been allocated a stand but you are still interested, please ensure that you renew your application.
- The Council will only contact you when it has any stands available to offer. If your application is successful, you will receive a formal offer to lease and then if you accept the offer, you will be contacted to visit the office to sign a formal agreement of lease.
- The first year's lease rental must accompany your lease offer and letter of acceptance.
- "Agreements of Lease with Option to Purchase" invariably include a Clause to the effect that buildings to a certain value must be erected on the site within a stipulated period. The option to purchase may not be exercised and Title to such land will not be issued until the purchase price has been fully paid and buildings to the specified value have been erected and completed to the satisfaction of the Council. The land remains Council property until Title has been granted which implies that you will not be entitled to sell or part with the stand without the consent in writing of the Council.
- On signing the Agreement, the Lessee becomes subject to the Council By-laws or Regulations and to payment of rates and taxes where applicable.
- In addition to the purchase price, the Lessee will be called upon to pay survey costs, land grant stamp duties and registration fees for Title Deeds.
